Across the Kingdom of Eswatini, the true measure of meaningful corporate citizenship is found not in words, but in action, in the lives touched, the dignity restored, and the futures reshaped. Through our Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives, we have remained steadfast in one mission: to uplift the elderly and persons living with disabilities through practical, life-changing interventions.
Our CSR work is rooted in real community needs. It responds directly to the everyday realities faced by elderly citizens and people with disabilities, unsafe housing, limited mobility, social isolation, and barriers to opportunity. By focusing on tangible solutions, our initiatives continue to transform lives in ways that are both visible and lasting.
Restoring Dignity Through Safe and Decent Housing
For elderly people and persons with disabilities, housing is more than shelter. It is safety. It is dignity. It is the foundation of wellbeing. Recognising this, housing development has become one of the most impactful pillars of our CSR work.
Maliyaduma: A Home That Enables Independence

In Maliyaduma, our CSR intervention focused on a person living with disability whose living conditions limited both safety and independence. The construction of a new, disability-friendly home marked a turning point.
Designed with accessibility in mind, the house allows for ease of movement and day-to-day functionality, ensuring the beneficiary can live independently and safely. The initiative went beyond housing by supporting income-generating activities, reinforcing self-reliance and restoring a sense of purpose.
The project was characterised by hands-on involvement, with leadership and staff actively participating, a powerful demonstration that CSR is a shared responsibility and a collective act of compassion.
Sihhoye: Securing Comfort and Peace of Mind for the Elderly

In Sihhoye, our organisation responded to the needs of an elderly community member whose living conditions posed serious risks to health and wellbeing. Through the construction of a fully completed home, complete with essential amenities, we provided a secure and dignified living environment.
For the beneficiary, the house represented more than physical shelter. It offered peace of mind, comfort, and the reassurance that their years would be lived in safety and dignity. For the community, it stood as a visible reminder that elderly citizens are valued and deserving of care and protection.
Mambane: Rebuilding Lives and Restoring Hope

In Mambane, our CSR initiative reached an elderly woman who had lost her home and was living in vulnerable conditions. The construction of a new house restored stability at a critical time in her life.
This intervention underscored the importance of responding swiftly and compassionately to vulnerability. By rebuilding her home, we helped restore not only shelter, but a sense of belonging, security, and hope, elements that are essential to human dignity.
More Than Structures: Homes That Change Lives
Across Maliyaduma, Sihhoye, and Mambane, our housing initiatives share a common purpose: to protect elderly persons and people with disabilities from risk, neglect, and isolation. Each home constructed is carefully planned to meet the specific needs of its beneficiary, ensuring safety, accessibility, and comfort.
These are not just houses. They are spaces of protection, independence, and renewed dignity.
Opening Doors Through Education
While housing secures dignity, education creates opportunity. Recognising the barriers faced by persons living with disabilities in accessing higher education, our CSR initiatives also extend to academic support.
Scholarship Support for Khumbuzile Mbhamali

As part of our education initiatives, we awarded a comprehensive scholarship to Khumbuzile Mbhamali, supporting her tertiary studies and easing the financial burden associated with higher education.
The scholarship covers tuition and essential living expenses, allowing her to focus fully on her academic journey. This support represents a powerful investment in potential, affirming that disability should never be a barrier to ambition, excellence, or contribution to society.
By supporting Khumbuzile’s education, we are nurturing a future professional whose success will echo far beyond the classroom.
Community Impact That Endures
Each CSR initiative we undertake is designed to deliver long-term impact rather than temporary relief. By focusing on housing and education for elderly persons and people living with disabilities, our efforts strengthen families, uplift communities, and contribute to social stability.
These initiatives also reinforce an important truth: when the most vulnerable are protected, entire communities become stronger.
Looking Ahead: Deepening Our Impact
Our journey of community upliftment continues. Guided by compassion and informed by real needs on the ground, we remain committed to initiatives that restore dignity, enable independence, and open doors to opportunity.
From building homes in Maliyaduma, Sihhoye, and Mambane, to supporting academic dreams through scholarships such as that awarded to Khumbuzile Mbhamali, our CSR initiatives stand as a testament to what purposeful action can achieve.
These stories are not isolated successes. They are part of a growing legacy, one built on care, responsibility, and a deep respect for human dignity.
